This course is designed to train and empower individuals, who in the past were helpless bystanders, to become proactive participants in their own survival. Our students are taught and empowered with skills and knowledge on how to save themselves, and the person next to them.  The course is based and structured on four fundamentals of an active shooter situation: awareness, preparedness, response, and recovery.  Students are taught skills and knowledge to help those injured with life threatening traumatic injuries. Then we place our students in our real-life scenarios, with our real-life mannequins, who have similar traumatic injuries seen during these events.  Here our students utilize their newfound knowledge and skills to save themselves, and those next to them. Finally, we discuss the mental health and emotional effects that can result from these traumatic events. This course is conducted onsite in your facility to train and drill using the lay out of your facility.  This training will give you the best training and experience while conducting our Active Shooter and Medical Preparedness Course. Upon completion students will receive a course completion certificate from Rescue Awareness Solutions, and the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma.
